Betty White moved to Cabbagetown in 1984 and has lived here ever since. Born in the United States, she has lived and worked as an artist and art teacher in Canada since 1969. She has exhibited in Montreal, Toronto, United States, France and Mexico. Her work is in the collection of The Art Bank, Ryerson University, Reader’s Digest, and in private collections around the world. She apprenticed with Brazilian artist, Olly Reinheimer in Rio de Janeiro, and has taken private studies with conservator Andrzej Ornoch. She was a teacher at Montcrest School for 28 years.  (Photo: Marion Voysey)
